I like to take separate portraits of each family member candidly, as I find that this is when the "true" personality is captured. I approach portrait sessions in an easy and FUN manner, often using a long lens so I can capture the moment - and the personalities - unobtrusively from a distance. And I've been known to do a very convincing dog bark when I need to get a cranky baby's attention. Just sayin ...
