As I wind down my 2018 wedding and portrait session, and my business here in Pittsburgh, I wanted to share some of the sessions I've had this past month that I haven't had time to share individually. It's been such a wonderful summer of small, intimate weddings (my favorite kind!), children and family portrait sessions, graduation and senior sessions, engagement sessions, and even a proposal or two. I've also spent the summer working on my This Is Me Photography site, as I'm beyond excited to market this new idea to the acting and modeling market in Los Angeles - as well as a new way to present yourself online in a social or business profile. The passion I have for this technique has renewed me as an artist, and the best is yet to be I feel.
Though this won't be my last post here in Pittsburgh, I just wanted to say how wonderful it's been to be a working photographer here in the city I love. When I left many years ago, and then came back to help care for my parents, I was grateful to find an enthusiastic market here, with wonderful clients that I'll never forget, and a city that continues to intrigue me with it's contrast of old and new, changing light, and consistent beauty, just as it did the first time I got off a Greyhound Bus to live here, almost 40 years ago. There is truly no place like Pittsburgh. Friendliest city in the country, I swear - if not the world.
Here are some of my favorites from a few of the recent sessions I've had the pleasure to enjoy and capture in the unforgettable 2018 season.
